I’m a nutritionist who barely talks about food.

Some people think that’s weird and I didn’t always work like this.

I used to spend hours working on meal plans for clients and posting recipes on my blog because that’s what people told me they wanted – easy meal plans and healthy recipes. But after working with clients all over the world and seeing them continue to struggle, even with pages of healthy meal plans and recipes, I realized something:

It’s not about the food!

Food is actually the easy part.

The hard part is the emotional and mental stuff that gets in the way and sets up unhealthy patterns and habits for us around food.

It’s eating when you’re stressed, bored, tired, anxious or just craving sugar or salt.

Sure, for a while you can “white-knuckle” it, following a meal plan and preparing healthy recipes on the weekend to have ready in the freezer. But we all know that eventually the stress or the lack of energy or the cravings overpower us and we end up right back where we started.

And do you know why?

Because you’re not dealing with the root cause of the problem. Remember? It’s not about the food!

The truth is that you can’t just change your diet without changing yourself. To be truly happy and healthy you need to nourish your body AND soul.

And I think deep down inside you know that. You just don’t know where to start to make that happen.

But that’s my job!

My job is to help you tackle the underlying stuff, the emotional stuff and once-and-for-all shift your relationship with food so that:

  • You feel strong, calm and confident around any food and in any situation knowing that you have the tools you need to make truly nourishing choices
  • Making the healthy choice becomes easy (no more “white-knuckling” your way through that Christmas party)
  • When you do decide to indulge (because I don’t want to live in a world where you can’t have cake), a small, healthy amount becomes utterly satisfying and something you truly enjoy
  • You never again have to feel the guilt and shame that comes with emotional eating.
